Emily and Bryan | Kestrel Park, California

During our time in California, we received the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful venues – each one somehow more charming than the last. Nestled along the Santra Barbara countryside, it’s easy to understand why Kestrel Park captures the hearts of so many. With the gardens just beginning to bloom for the spring season, Emily and Bryan’s session is filled with the most beautiful pops of color and ended with the golden sun setting behind them. The opportunity spent photographing and collaborating at Brandy’s workshop was truly incredible and Lacy continued to inspired the creative team with her vision. I can’t wait to share more images with you soon!

Sinclair and Moore Floral Workshop | Seattle, Washington

One of the greatest joys on this little flower journey of mine was receiving the opportunity to meet and learn from Steve of Sinclair & Moore. Last year I had shared a little bit of my heart and how I wanted to work a little differently as I created something that was uniquely my own. To create organically yet with intention. To redefine what I bring to my clients as I find the confidence to pursue floral design.

I have been following Steve and Jamie for quite some time and while it wasn’t until recently that I received the opportunity to meet them, I’ve watched them pour so much of their hearts into their workshop attendees over the years. Treating others with grace, love, and compassion matters. It always matters. What I didn’t realize is that receiving this opportunity would hold more space in my heart than I ever imagined.

Over three days Steve shared his understanding of space and composition. He offered us the invaluable resources of pricing and the logistics of ordering and shipping. He inspired us with his design techniques and encouraged us to build intentional relationships within the community. My time in Seattle was truly a gift and I would absolutely encourage anyone to attend who is looking to create in a way that feels fulfilling both personally and professionally.

Maddie and Steev | Colorado Springs, Colorado

This last August my sweet friend Sarah and I wanted to welcome the upcoming season with something a little slower. This sweet cottage session in Colorado Springs with Maddie and Steev was the perfect transition and we are so incredibly grateful to have this story print published in the Fall | Winter Book of The Letter.

“Every season of life brings its own unique definition of busy. Our calendars surprise us every month with how many events have flooded each day, and each moment of rest seems to become more sacred and scarce.

I do believe in removing what we would categorize as unnecessary busyness from our lives, but what we really need to turn our attention to is how we can take advantage of the moments in-between the chaos to bring more purpose and life to our greatest relationships.

Taking a slow stroll down your quaint neighborhood with no agenda. Sitting on your porch swing with a fresh batch of french press coffee. Making a simple morning brunch with your love. These moments are sacred and will pass us all by if we are not intentional with our time. Try slowing down this weekend with your most precious people and enjoying those sweet in-between moments.”
